WHAT
This free one-week camp is designed for girls entering Year 9 and Year 10 to spark their interest in pursuing future careers in the STEM fields.
Participants take part in a variety of educational coding games and activities led by experienced female software developers. Camp Code introduces participants to a variety of women in technology and explore the diverse opportunities available to women who code.
WHO
Girls interested in software programming (coding) who are entering Year 9 or Year 10.
As a technology company, FAST recognizes that there is a lack of women in technology fields. We’re hosting this camp with the hope of introducing girls to the opportunities available to them in those fields. We’re offering this camp to girls in Year 9 or 10, who are at an age where they will be making education decisions that may guide them into technology-oriented fields.

FAST is committed to encouraging and supporting women pursuing careers in STEM. Once campers have finished Camp Code, they are invited to continue building their skills in the technology field by volunteering as an instructor assistant in future camps!
